Lender Overview

Fund Ourselves is an online peer to peer platform offering short term instalment loans. Customers can apply to borrow £100 to £1500 by completing an online application form which usually takes around 15 minutes to fill in. Loan durations are from 4 months to 6 months. It’s important to remember that their loans are for short term use only and should not be used for long term borrowing. There are no fees for applying for a loan with Fund Ourselves and they do not charge any additional early repayment fees. Fund Ourselves offers an online customer account service where you can apply for new loans, view outstanding loan details and update your personal details.

Transfer Time

Fund Ourselves offers loans 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Successful applicants will have their loan transferred to their nominated bank account via Faster Payments as a free of charge service. Funds are normally sent on the same day as an approved application so customers will be able to access their loan money on the same day as applying, and often within 1 hour. If the loan application is successfully completed and signed after 10pm, the funds will be transferred the next working day.

Loan Repayment

Each monthly repayment is scheduled for a specific date and most customers select their pay date. Fund Ourselves will send monthly repayment reminders before you are due to make a payment and on the agreed repayment date. They will then collect the agreed repayment amount automatically from your nominated debit card. Customers do not need to make any manual loan repayments, however if you would like to repay your loan ahead of your scheduled repayment date, you can do so at no extra cost.

Application Criteria

• You must be at least 18 years old
• You must be a full time UK resident
• You must be employed and earning a regular salary
• You must have a valid UK bank account, mobile phone and email
• No guarantor required
• Bad credit considered
• You must be able to afford your repayments
• No recent CCJs, IVAs or bankruptcy
